5 / 7-Inch AI Car Night Vision System
An AI car night vision system using an external thermal camera and a 5-inch or 7-inch touchscreen. Integrated processing recognizes pedestrians, vehicles and animals in thermal imagery. Choose from three detector resolutions and multiple lenses, then configure recognition sensitivity, warning zones and audible alerts. Thermal video recording supports later review.
Thermal camera options, AI recognition and adjustable alerts
Thermal camera and lens selection
Match camera resolution and lens field of view to the project.
AI pedestrian, vehicle and animal recognition
Integrated processing identifies people, vehicles and animals.
Adjustable warning zones and sensitivity
Adjust warning areas and sensitivity, with audible alerts and a 3.3 V signal output.
Pedestrian, animal and vehicle thermal image references
Each visible-light scene is generated from the thermal image alongside, using its subjects and layout as a guide.
A person highlighted against an indoor background.
One standing person, a plant, a table and chairs inform the visible-light reconstruction. The original display photograph shows how the person is highlighted in thermal imagery.
Animals grouped beside a large tree.
The visible-light reconstruction follows the large foreground tree and the smaller animal targets grouped toward the right. Appearance, species details and surface colors are inferred.
Three vehicles ahead in the thermal view.
The reconstruction follows the three rear-facing vehicles, roadside fence, streetlights and trees visible in the thermal reference. Vehicle colors, lighting and building detail are plausible additions.
The left images are AI reconstructions, not original visible-light photographs or synchronized camera captures. Similar composition helps explain the thermal references; it does not establish exact scene details, recognition accuracy or detection range. The system assists observation and warning; the driver controls the vehicle.
How thermal imaging and on-device AI recognition work
External thermal camera
Captures infrared contrast without visible illumination.
Integrated AI processing
Analyzes thermal imagery to recognize pedestrians, vehicles and animals.
Driver-facing warning
Displays recognition boxes and provides alerts according to warning settings.
Recognition can be affected by weather, thermal contrast, installation and target size. This system does not steer or brake.
Seven thermal palettes and video recording
Choose a palette to change how thermal contrast is displayed. Palette selection changes presentation, not detector resolution.
- White Hot
- Black Hot
- Ironbow
- Hot
- Rainbow
- Lava
- Red Hot
Red Hot includes an adjustable threshold. The palette image is a manufacturer demonstration.
Recording & review
Capture thermal video for later review; confirm the storage accessory and firmware configuration.
Language options
The literature lists ten interface language options. Confirm the supplied language pack for your market.

AI Car Night Vision System FAQ
Compare configurations, understand recognition conditions and prepare your order.
What does an AI car night vision system do?
It combines an external thermal camera with a dedicated touchscreen to display road imagery and recognize pedestrians, vehicles and animals using AI. Warning zones, recognition sensitivity and audible alerts are adjustable, and thermal video recording is supported.
Which thermal camera resolutions can I choose?
Options are 256 × 192, 384 × 288 and 640 × 512. Available lenses and defrost features depend on the camera configuration.
How do the 5-inch and 7-inch displays differ?
Both are 1024 × 600 IPS touchscreens. Choose by cabin space and viewing preference; a larger display does not increase the detector resolution.
How should I choose a lens?
A wider view covers more of the scene; a narrower view concentrates detail. Compare the camera configurations against mounting position and warning-area needs.
How far can it recognize pedestrians?
Listed AI ranges span 15–100 m across configurations, for pedestrians taller than 1.7 m. They are conditional references, not guaranteed warning distances.
Does the 60 m animal range apply to cats and dogs?
No. The series references use animals taller than 1.5 m. They do not establish a recognition distance for smaller animals.
Does thermal imaging work in complete darkness?
Yes. Image formation does not need visible light. Recognition still depends on thermal contrast, installation and operating conditions; heavy rain or dense fog can reduce performance.
Does every camera include automatic defrosting?
No. The 256 × 192 / 1.5 mm and 640 × 512 / 4.6 mm options exclude it. Other listed options support heating below 2°C, switching off above 7°C.
Can AI recognition sensitivity and warning zones be adjusted?
Yes. The touchscreen provides warning-area and sensitivity settings. A built-in speaker and 3.3 V alarm signal support warnings; external equipment needs compatible interface circuitry.
Can the system record thermal footage?
Yes. Recording is listed for this series. Confirm the storage accessory, capacity and recording settings for the selected hardware and firmware.
Does it apply the brakes or steer automatically?
No. It provides imagery and warning assistance. The driver controls steering, braking and speed; recognition errors and missed detections remain possible.
